Students on the Autistic Spectrum have a wide variety of strengths and abilities that make their communication and learning skills complex and diverse. We know these students tend to be strong visual learners, which makes the iPad a perfect instructional tool to support communication, social skills development, and positive behavior for the students with Autism in the classroom.
In keeping with Our Mission Statement, the iPads we provide are intended to be used by children on the spectrum and their teachers and aids to use with them, specifically to improve their educational opportunities, and provide support and guidance.
If you are interested in applying for an iPad grant from FAAN, please complete the following form and include any information you think might help us with our decision. Our goal is to help as many children on the spectrum as possible, so the details are important.
To all teachers, aides, therapists, workers who teach and work with this community’s amazing children on the spectrum, from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for all you do.
Educational Grant applications are closed for this quarter.
